Vagamon - Hillstation of Kerala







Vagamon,locataed in the Kottayam-Idukki border of Kerala, is a hillstation that has a temperature of 10-23degree Celsius  even during summer midday.  Also known as Scotland of Asia, it is situated at 1100m above sea level.  It has been mentioned as one of the "50 most attractive places of India" by National Geographic. A sleepy town with green meadows, beautiful valley and enchanting pine forests offers the visitor amenities for trekking, paragliding, mountaineering and rock climbing. This hill station has a chain of three beautiful hills called Thangal hill, Murugan hill and Kurismala.
